Personalized Smile Planning with the Visagism Method

Visagism is a special approach that analyzes a person's facial contours, eye shape, skin tone and lip structure together to determine the most appropriate tooth form based on scientific principles. It means designing according to the individual's own unique anatomy rather than standard measurements.

This method, applied in a very limited number of centers in Ankara İncek, is professionally implemented by Dr. Sevgi Savaş Akbaş at our clinic. The tooth form selected as a result of the visagism assessment creates a natural and personal effect both in the frontal appearance and in the dynamic appearance during smiling.

Porcelain Laminate Veneer (Leaf Tooth)

Porcelain laminate veneer, commonly known as "leaf tooth," is an aesthetic restoration method in which thin porcelain layers 0.3–0.7 mm thick are bonded to the front surfaces of the teeth. Discolorations, wear, shape irregularities and tooth gaps can be transformed into a naturally radiant appearance with this method.

Porcelain laminate veneer is one of the most preferred solutions in aesthetic dentistry for patients who have long-term aesthetic expectations and prioritize a natural tooth appearance.

Composite Laminate Veneer and Composite Bonding

Composite veneer and bonding applications allow small fractures, gaps, discolorations and form irregularities in front teeth to be corrected on the same day, without tooth preparation or with minimal intervention. Special aesthetic composite resins are applied directly to the tooth and shaped.

• Same-day result: A patient who comes to the clinic in the morning leaves with their aesthetic smile the same day.
• Reversible application: As tooth tissue is preserved, revision can be performed when necessary.
• Economical solution: More accessible in cost compared to porcelain alternatives.

Professional Teeth Whitening (Bleaching)

Teeth whitening is the procedure in which teeth that have acquired a dull appearance due to discoloration from tea, coffee, smoking and aging are made several shades whiter and brighter through professional bleaching applied in a clinical setting.

In the professional in-office whitening applied at our clinic, gums are protected with a protective barrier and high-concentration whitening gel is applied to the teeth. Typically 2–6 shades of lightening can be achieved in a single session. The procedure is performed without damaging the tooth enamel structure.

E.Max Crown (All-Ceramic Crown)

E.Max crowns are all-ceramic crowns produced from lithium disilicate glass ceramic, containing no metal substructure whatsoever. These crowns, which most closely mimic the light refraction and transmittance properties of a natural tooth, are among the preferred materials in aesthetic dentistry especially because they deliver excellent aesthetic results in front tooth regions.

• Since they contain no metal, they do not create a gray-dark color at the gum line
• Thanks to high flexural strength, they are safely used on front and premolar teeth
• Allergy risk is extremely low; biocompatibility is high
• Color stability is maintained over many years

Zirconia Restoration

Zirconia is a bioceramic material that replaces metal-supported porcelain in dentistry and stands out with its white color and high durability. It is preferred in a wide patient group because it can be used on both front and back teeth, can be applied to patients with metal allergies and is long-lasting.

Pink Aesthetics – Gum Aesthetics

A beautiful smile is not just about white teeth. The form, level and color of the gums also directly determine smile aesthetics. This group of applications called "pink aesthetics" covers making gum levels symmetrical, treating gummy smile (excessive gum visibility) and improving gum color.

Hollywood Smile – Complete Smile Transformation

Hollywood Smile is a complete and striking smile transformation application in which all front teeth are reshaped with comprehensive aesthetic treatments. It can include laminate veneers, zirconia crowns, teeth whitening and pink aesthetics applications together.

Hollywood smile can be applied to anyone; however, since each individual's facial structure, gum health and personal expectations differ, the treatment plan must always be personalized. At our clinic, the treatment outcome is pre-visualized with a digital mock-up (prototype) application, and production commences with the patient's approval.

Orthodontic Treatments – Clear Aligner and Brackets

Crowded, gapped or incorrectly positioned teeth cause both functional and aesthetic problems. Orthodontic treatment realigns these teeth, improving both chewing function and smile aesthetics. In aesthetic dentistry planning, orthodontics may be a fundamental step that must be completed before veneer or restoration treatments.

• Clear aligner systems: Invisible, removable and comfortable; especially preferred by adult patients. Takes an average of 6–18 months.
• Porcelain (aesthetic) brackets: Less conspicuous treatment with brackets close in color to the tooth.
